The cycle is the business model
A grooming client is not one $85 transaction. On a seven-week cycle they are seven visits a year, and the entire difference between a busy salon and a struggling one is how many clients stay on cycle.
Rebooking at the counter is the standard advice and it fails constantly, because pickup is the worst moment to ask anyone to look at a calendar. Automating the prompt at the right point in the cycle removes that dependency.
The same applies to boarding. Owners book holidays months in advance and think about kennels weeks later — a reminder timed to the school holiday calendar is worth more than any advert.
Admin is eating the margin
Vaccination records, intake forms, temperament tests, drop-off windows and pickup times are all real requirements, and all of them are traditionally chased by hand the week before.
In this build the requests ride along with the confirmation and reminder sequence, so the paperwork arrives before the pet does and reception is not spending its mornings texting owners.
Missed appointments get the same treatment. A no-show in a grooming diary is a wasted hour of table time that cannot be resold after the fact, so recovery has to happen fast.
Import and branding
The snapshot is delivered into your nominated sub-account within 24 business hours, with pages, calendars and automations connected.
The instructions run the import end to end. The parts to set before you go live are the breed price bands, the service durations and the vaccination rule the receptionist says out loud. Installation by us is optional and costs $175.
The configuration worth spending time on is duration and capacity. Groom lengths by breed and coat, kennel counts and daycare limits decide whether the booking calendar is genuinely reliable.
