How to install a GHL custom theme in two minutes

Every GHL Customizer account installs the same way: one script line in Custom JS and one CSS line in Custom CSS, both under GoHighLevel → Agency Settings → Company → White Label. Paste them once and every design you publish afterwards goes live on its own.

Step by step

Five steps, one visit to White Label

Answer first: copy two lines from the editor, paste them into two boxes in GoHighLevel, save. The detail is below.

  1. Open Get code in the editor

    Log in to the customizer, open your workspace and press Get code. Both lines are shown with your own key already filled in.

  2. Go to White Label in GoHighLevel

    In GoHighLevel open GoHighLevel → Agency Settings → Company → White Label. You need agency admin access to see it.

  3. Paste the script into Custom JS

    Paste <script src="https://customizer.ghlcustomercare.com/l/YOUR-KEY.js"></script> into the Custom JS box. This line carries the theme, menus, dashboards, boards and widgets.

  4. Paste the import into Custom CSS

    Paste @import url("https://customizer.ghlcustomercare.com/lc/YOUR-KEY.css"); into the Custom CSS box. This line carries the login page design.

  5. Save and reload

    Save, then reload GoHighLevel. From now on, anything you publish in the editor appears without touching these boxes again.

What you never have to do

  • Send anyone your GoHighLevel password or agency access
  • Edit each sub-account one by one
  • Reinstall after every change in the editor
  • Write CSS (though you can add your own if you like)

Why two lines

The Custom JS line loads the theme, menus, dashboards, boards and widgets inside the app; the Custom CSS line styles the sign-in page, which loads before any script runs. Both point at your account, so publishing in the editor updates GoHighLevel for everyone on the next page load.

How do I install a custom theme in GoHighLevel?

Paste one script line into Agency Settings → Company → White Label → Custom JS and one @import line into Custom CSS on the same page, then save. It takes about 2 minutes, once.

Where do I find my install key?

On the Get code screen inside your customizer account. It shows both lines with your key already in them, so you copy them as they are.

Do I need to reinstall when I change the design?

No. The lines load whatever you have published, so every later change in the editor goes live without touching GoHighLevel again.

What if I already have custom CSS or JS in GoHighLevel?

Keep it. Add the customizer lines on their own lines alongside your existing code. If your old CSS fights the new theme, remove the conflicting rules or override them in the editor.

Do you need my GoHighLevel login to install it?

No, and we never ask for it. You paste the lines yourself in your own White Label settings.

Which GoHighLevel plan do I need?

One that gives you the agency White Label settings with Custom JS and Custom CSS. If you can see those boxes under Agency Settings → Company → White Label, you can install it.

How do I remove it?

Delete the two lines and save. GoHighLevel returns to its standard look straight away; nothing else in your account changes.

Will it work on the GoHighLevel mobile app?

The customizer styles GoHighLevel in the browser, on desktop and on mobile browsers. Native mobile apps generally do not load White Label custom code, so expect the app to keep its own look.

What is privacy mode?

A button in the header that blurs names, emails and phone numbers on screen, for demos and screen-shares. It is included in every package; try it in the preview on this page.

What if the login email never arrives?

Check spam first. The account is created automatically when payment clears and the login is usually there within minutes; if it is not there within 24 hours, contact us with your order reference and we set it up by hand.
